Strategic focus
Our current focus is on contract mining, plant construction, operation and maintenance for both open-cast and underground mining. We are committed to extending the life of existing mineral assets, discovering and acquiring new mineral reserves. Ensuring supply security for domestic and export markets
Nkanyezi has entered a strategic collaboration, where they provide services in:
- Mineral mining, processing, and logistics
- Ownership of operational collieries supplying coal to Eskom
- Production of export-grade minerals, positioning Nkanyezi to access international markets
In this involvement our operational capacity was strengthened, it also enhanced supply chain integration and provided market diversification opportunities. We also managed to secure two sites in Mpumalanga region and also procured full equipment to ensure that we keep production to its fullest capacity.
Nkanyezi Industrial Resources is highly proficient in the complex and technically demanding domain of underground mining, which involves the safe and efficient extraction of minerals and ores located deep beneath the earth’s surface.
Through innovative practices and skilled workforce deployment, we have successfully managed to sustain and grow underground mineral production, even in geologically challenging environments. Through this collaboration the company started off with 9 to employing 67 employees who form part of the legal requirements required by the Mine Health and Safety Act.
